Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Surat. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects, following drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Daily responsibilities include wiring, panel board installation, conduit and cable routing, testing circuits, and ensuring proper grounding and protection devices. The role involves diagnosing electrical faults, performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance, and coordinating with site engineers and other trades to minimize downtime and support project schedules.



The Electrician is expected to follow all safety protocols, maintain tools and materials, and keep accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of electricity and practical experience in electrical work in construction or similar environments.
- Hands-on skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, including installation, testing, and replacement of components.
- Ability to perform effective troubleshooting of electrical faults, identify root causes, and implement safe, timely solutions.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to building wiring, load distribution, and safety standards.
- Formal training or certification as an Electrician (ITI, diploma, or equivalent) and familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance with company and legal safety guidelines.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and instructions, and to work collaboratively with site teams.
- Physical ability to perform on-site tasks, including working at heights or in confined spaces, and willingness to work extended hours when required by project schedules.
