Role & responsibilities

- Responsible for executing preventive, predictive, corrective, breakdown, shutdown, and overhaul maintenance of Electrical systems associated with 400KV switchyard, Distance Protection relay panels, Main Plant Electrical system, BTG, to ensure protected, reliable, and uninterrupted operation Of plant equipment.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of 400KV Switchyard, 660MW Generator, MVA Generator Transformers, AVR-Automatic voltage regulators, 11KV HT Panels, 11KV HT Motors, Excitation transformer, LAVT, NGT, NGR, Generator Protection Relay panels, 11KV Relays, LT panels, MCCs, PCC Power Transformers, LT Motors, Power Distribution Systems, VFD Drives, MicroPLC, Testing Of EHV and HV equipments.
- Supervise and coordinate technicians and contract manpower for site execution activities, attend electrical emergencies and equipment breakdowns, support shutdown activities, maintain ERP documentation, participate in root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, PTW, statutory, and plant operational requirements.
- Support spare inventory management, material planning, critical spares identification, procurement follow-up, and resource planning for 400KV switchyard, main plant & associated electrical systems.
- Ensure proper maintenance documentation, ERP/SAP data entry,



job closure reporting, equipment history updating, technical report preparation, and timely escalation of critical equipment failures, safety concerns, and operational risks to reporting management.

Preferred candidate profile B.E. / B.Tech Electrical graduate with 6+ Years of experience in Thermal Power Plant.

Expertise in 400KV Switchyard, Transmission Line, Transformers Commissioning, Transformer Oil Change and Health check of Transformers.
