Role & responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems panels, switchgear, transformers, motors, drives and lighting
- Ensure all electrical work is performed in compliance with the Indian Electricity Rules and hold a valid supervisor license responsibilities
- Plan and execute maintenance schedules to minimise production downtime
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate timely repairs with the maintenance team
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and statutory inspection/test certificates
- Coordinate with the electricity board/statutory authorities for inspections, approvals and compliance filings
- Monitor energy consumption and recommend measures for energy efficiency




- Ensure availability of critical spares and coordinate procurement with the stores/purchase team
- Enforce electrical safety protocols, permit-to-work systems, and PPE compliance on site
- Train and guide junior technicians/electricians on safe work practices and maintenance procedures
- Support current equipment installation, commissioning and electrical layout verification

Preferred candidate profile LT/HT electrical systems, panel & switchgear maintenance, motor and drive troubleshooting, preventive/breakdown maintenance, electrical safety compliance, PLC/instrumentation basics
