Position: AutoCAD Electrical Design Engineer

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or ElectricalEngineering.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Design electrical control panels, power distribution systems, and PLC I/O schematics.
- Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and terminal plans.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with mechanical, automation, and project teams to ensure timely projectexecution.
- Update drawings based on customer comments and engineering revisions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards and company design practices.
- Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities whenever required.

Required Skills





- Solid hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Good knowledge of electrical schematic design and drafting.
- Experience in PLC control panels, MCC panels, and industrial automation systems.
- Understanding of electrical components, protection devices, sensors, VFDs, relays, andcontrol circuits.
- Knowledge of cable sizing, terminal planning, and panel layout.
- Ability to interpret customer specifications and prepare engineering documentation.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to PLCs such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, or Schneider.
- Knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8 is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with IEC, IS, or other relevant electrical design standards.
- Experience in manufacturing, automation, or special-purpose machine (SPM) projects ispreferred.
