Role Description The EHS Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Defence Colony. The EHS Officer will oversee daily Environment, Health, and Safety activities across project sites, including conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The role involves developing and implementing EHS procedures, conducting safety briefings and toolbox talks, and maintaining records of incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.

The EHS Officer will coordinate with project managers and site teams to promote a strong safety culture, support occupational health initiatives, and ensure workplace safety standards are consistently met.



The position also requires periodic reporting on EHS performance and recommending improvements to reduce risk and enhance overall safety outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Health & Safety skills, with experience in implementing safety programs on active project sites.
- Candidates should possess skills in Occupational Health and Workplace Safety, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and development of preventive measures.
- Candidates should possess NEBOSH or equivalent recognized safety certification, demonstrating knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Relevant academic background in EHS, Safety Management, Industrial Safety, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Ability to interpret and apply local safety regulations and standards, and to prepare clear documentation, reports, and safety guidelines.
- Strong communication and training skills to effectively engage site teams and promote a safety-focused culture.
- Prior experience in construction, interiors, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
- Attention to detail, proactive approach to problem-solving, and readiness to work on-site in a energetic project environment.
