About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Duck Creek Policy Developer with strong expertise in Duck Creek Policy Administration System (PAS) and a solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance processes.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing, configuring, developing, and testing Duck Creek Policy solutions using Duck Creek Author, Server, and Express, along with experience supporting production applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and develop Duck Creek Policy solutions based on business and functional requirements.
- Work across Duck Creek PAS components including Duck Creek Author, Server, and Express.
- Configure and implement insurance business rules related to underwriting, rating, forms, eligibility, and policy processing.
- Translate P&C; insurance requirements into scalable Duck Creek configurations and technical solutions.
- Perform configuration, development, unit testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
- Develop and maintain Duck Creek Policy components while following platform and development best practices.
- Provide L2 production support for Duck Creek Policy applications.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production incidents, service requests, application defects, and configuration issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of production issues within agreed SLAs.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects,



and other technology teams to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
- Support application releases, deployments, fixes, and post-production validation.
- Maintain technical documentation covering configurations, solutions, troubleshooting procedures, and support activities.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4 - 9 years of experience in Duck Creek Policy development and implementation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Duck Creek PAS and its core components.
- Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Author, Server, and Express in design, configuration, and development.
- Strong understanding of P&C; insurance processes and concepts.
- Good knowledge of underwriting, rating, insurance rules, eligibility, forms, and policy lifecycle.
- Experience translating business requirements into Duck Creek configurations and technical solutions.
- Strong experience in configuration, development, unit testing, defect resolution, and deployment.
- Experience providing L2 production support for Duck Creek Policy applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for production incidents and application defects.
- Experience working within defined SLA and incident management processes.
- Good understanding of SDLC, testing, release management, and Agile development practices.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
