Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a DSP Engineer with a robust Embedded C background, based in Bengaluru South. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing DSP algorithms for embedded platforms, with a focus on performance, memory usage, and power efficiency. The professional in this role will implement algorithms in Embedded C, integrate them into existing software frameworks, and perform debugging, profiling, and optimization on target hardware.

Responsibilities include collaborating with hardware, firmware, and systems teams, reviewing design specifications,



writing clean and maintainable code, and creating technical documentation and test cases. The role also requires participating in code reviews, supporting system integration, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Embedded C for real-time and resource-constrained systems, including memory management and low-level programming.
- Hands-on experience with DSP concepts such as filtering, transforms, fixed-point/float-point implementation, and signal processing optimization.
- Familiarity with embedded development tools, debuggers, profilers, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working with microcontrollers, DSP processors, or SoCs, and understanding of hardware–software interaction.
- Ability to write unit tests, perform integration testing, and analyze performance on target hardware.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant industry experience in DSP and embedded software development.
- Exposure to audio, communications, or sensor-processing applications and familiarity with MATLAB or similar tools is an added advantage.
