Position Overview

Role: Drayage Dispatcher / Operations Specialist

Location: Lathrop, California (On-site / Hybrid options available)

Schedule: Consistent 5-day work week with steady, ongoing freight volume.

Work Style: Easygoing yet independent—we empower our team to take ownership of their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily drayage dispatches, tracking container movements efficiently to and from local ports and rail yards.

Build and maintain solid relationships with drivers, clients, and brokers to maximize fleet utilization.

Manage driver schedules to ensure timely pickups and deliveries while complying with hours-of-service regulations.

Proactively resolve any transit, routing,



or scheduling roadblocks.

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in freight sales, dispatching, or logistics management.

Strong understanding of port drayage operations, container tracking, and local lane economics.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying organized under pressure.

Proficiency with modern dispatch software, load boards, and digital communication tools.
