DR and Ops Management Support Specialist | IT | Global Technology

Qualification

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Disaster Recovery, IT operations support, reporting, or service onboarding functions

- Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes, including planning, annual testing, tracking, and remediation follow-up

- Working knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery frameworks and concepts (RTO/RPO, Business Impact Analysis, failover/failback procedures, backup and replication strategies)

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, particularly advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) for management reporting and tracking

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate to build and maintain workflow automations for recurring tasks, approvals, and notifications

- Experience supporting operational reporting and management dashboards using visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI (highly desirable), Tableau, and Qlik Sense

- Working knowledge of infrastructure, database, desktop, and end-user support operations

- Experience coordinating application onboarding / take-on (ATO) activities, including documentation, cost, resource, and support readiness assessments

- Experience with ITSM/ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar for incident, change, and problem management

- Working knowledge of cloud-based DR concepts (AWS/Azure DR, backup, and recovery services) is a plus

- Basic scripting/query skills (e.g., SQL, Power Query, VBA, or similar) to automate recurring reports and reduce manual effort





- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills and Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging both technical and business stakeholders

- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting status, risks, and recommendations to leadership

- Experience with at least one ticketing or workflow management system

- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives (DR tests, onboarding, reporting cycles) with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work collaboratively across geographically distributed teams

Responsibility

- Coordinate with Application Technical Owners to ensure Disaster Recovery solutions are documented, maintained, tested, and aligned to business continuity requirements. Plan and support DR annual test exercises for critical business processes; track issues and lessons learned, and ensure follow-up actions are completed

- Maintain execution plans for DR procedures and understand interdependencies across systems and teams. Track and report DR test outcomes, remediation status, and risk exposure to leadership and audit/compliance stakeholders as required

- Support service onboarding and application take-on (ATO) processes by coordinating assessments of documentation, cost, resources,



and service dependencies with Service Delivery Leads and Application Owners

- Prepare, maintain, and distribute regular and ad hoc management reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Sense; ensure reports are accurate, timely, and actionable for Global Technology leadership

- Build and maintain workflow automations using Power Automate to streamline recurring reporting, approvals, and notification processes

- Continuously identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting tasks (e.g., via Power Query, SQL, or scripting) to improve turnaround time and reduce manual errors

- Support reporting strategy and process improvement initiatives

- Maintain and update the DR and Ops Management SharePoint site, including documentation, procedures, guidelines, and calendars

- Partner with global technology and operations stakeholders to support infrastructure, database, and desktop management processes

- Create and maintain technical and operational documentation, including implementation notes, process guides, and FAQs

- Work effectively within a team distributed across multiple geographic locations

Good to Have

- ITIL v3 or ITIL Service Operation knowledge/certification

- Exposure to cloud DR/backup services (AWS Backup, Azure Site Recovery, or equivalent)

- Experience with SharePoint site administration/configuration beyond basic content updates

- Ability to support a 24x7 operational environment, including occasional weekend or off-hours work as required

- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and learning new tools/technologies
