ABOUT THE ROLE The role will own sourcing and procurement across

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a procurement/sourcing professional who has worked in F&B;, QSR, Cafe, FMCG, Food, Retail or Consumer-facing businesses and has experience managing complex, multi-category procurement at scale. IMPORTANT KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and execute category-wise strategic sourcing plans across F&B;, raw materials, dairy, perishables, grains, packaging, CAPEX, IT and services.
- Lead supplier identification, evaluation, onboarding, negotiation and long-term contracting.
- Drive procurement-led COGS optimization and sustainable cost savings across categories.
- Monitor commodity trends and manage procurement risks arising from price volatility.
- Build and develop a robust, multi-geography supplier ecosystem across India.
- Establish vendor KPI frameworks covering cost, quality, delivery and OTIF.
- Drive supplier development,



alternate sourcing and supply-risk mitigation.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse and Operations teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Drive demand planning and S&OP; alignment to minimize stock-outs and overstocking.
- Ensure quality, food safety and regulatory compliance across sourced materials.
- Lead CAPEX and IT sourcing and commercial negotiations.
- Evaluate outsourcing and strategic partnership opportunities across warehousing, manufacturing and supply-chain functions.
- Partner with NPD/Product teams to enable cost-effective sourcing and rapid scale-up of new products.
- Build, mentor and manage a high-performing sourcing and procurement team.
- Establish procurement governance, performance metrics and continuous improvement mechanisms.

COST OF GOODS SOLD & Cost Optimization

- Own procurement-led COGS ( Cost of Goods Sold) optimization across relevant categories.
- Identify and deliver sustainable cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, negotiations, alternate suppliers, volume consolidation and process improvements.
- Monitor commodity price movements, particularly for agri and food commodities, and proactively manage price risks.
- Develop cost benchmarks and supplier price comparison mechanisms.
- Partner with Finance and business teams to establish procurement budgets and track savings against targets.




- Identify opportunities to improve total cost of ownership rather than focusing only on purchase price.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

- Senior professional with strong experience in Strategic Sourcing / Procurement / Category Management.
- Hands-on experience in Dairy, Perishables, Grains and/or Food Raw Materials.
- Strong exposure to COGS, cost optimization, commodity procurement and supplier negotiations.
- Experience in CAPEX and IT sourcing.
- Robust vendor development and supplier management experience.
- Experience managing procurement across multiple geographies in India.
- Proven experience managing a team of 5 to 15 professionals.
- Experience working in a high-growth, multi-location business environment.

The person will own sourcing strategy and procurement across F&B;/raw materials, dairy, perishables, grains, packaging, CAPEX and services across multiple geographies.

The core mandate is to control COGS, improve vendor performance and OTIF, ensure consistent quality and supply availability, negotiate strategic contracts, build alternate suppliers, and drive cost savings.
