Qualification : CA with 1,2 and 3 attempts only considered years of experience : 5-10 years
Key Roles and responsibilities:
- Robust working knowledge of Indian Income Tax laws 1961 and 2025, including recent amendments and judicial precedents.
- Possess sound understanding of International Taxation and basic knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulations, including OECD guidelines.
- Handle tax provisioning, including Effective Tax Rate (ETR) computation and reporting.
- Prepare and review tax-related data, submission for tax audits, assessments, and internal management reporting.
- Prepare submissions, Grounds of Appeal, other appeal documents.
- Handling litigation and appearing before Assessing officer, TPO and CIT(A).
- Collaborating with various stakeholders for compilation of documents & details for working out annexures to submission to be done before tax officers,
- Analyze and determine tax treaty eligibility, domestic law and interpret provisions of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs).
- Manage TDS, TCS, Tax audit related compliances.
- Ensure compliance with CbCR (Country-by-Country Reporting), BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) and POEM related provisions
- Apply strong analytical skills to interpret tax laws, circulars, amendments and case laws for practical application.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance tax compliance and efficiency.
- Risk assessment and guidance from tax perspective for cross-border transactions.
- Advising on permanent establishment risk and business structuring for customer proposals.
- Collaborating with the Internal/Statutory auditors other internal / external stake holders.
