POSITION OVERVIEW

Cogentix is looking for a Digital Growth Specialist with 2+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, SEO, website analytics and marketing technology. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4 and Google Search Console.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SEO & Organic Growth

- Execute on-page and technical SEO activities; conduct keyword, competitor and search-intent analysis.
- Optimize content, metadata, internal linking, URLs, site structure and technical SEO elements.
- Monitor rankings, organic traffic, indexing and search performance; identify growth opportunities.
- Work with content and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.

AEO – Answer Engine Optimization

- Optimize content for answer-based search, featured snippets, People Also Ask, FAQs and conversational queries.
- Structure content around search intent and support schema/structured-content implementation.
- Stay current with changes in search behavior and answer-engine technologies.

GEO – Generative Engine Optimization

- Understand how AI-powered search and generative engines discover and present information.
- Improve topical authority, entity relevance, content credibility and structured information.
- Research emerging GEO practices and apply relevant approaches to client campaigns.

Google Tag Manager & Analytics





- Create and manage GTM tags, triggers and variables; implement GA4 events and conversion tracking.
- Track forms, buttons, downloads, campaigns and other website interactions.
- Test and troubleshoot tracking using GTM Preview/Debug mode and browser tools.
- Work with developers on data-layer and tracking requirements and maintain documentation.

Digital Analytics & Conversion Optimization

- Monitor website traffic, engagement, conversions and campaign performance using GA4 and Search Console.
- Prepare performance reports and identify opportunities to improve lead generation.
- Review landing pages and user journeys; support A/B testing and conversion-rate optimization.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- 2+ years of experience in Digital Marketing / SEO with strong hands-on execution.
- SEO and Technical SEO; AEO and GEO / Generative Search Optimization.
- Hands-on Google Tag Manager, GA4 and Google Search Console.
- Website event and conversion tracking; basic HTML and JavaScript.
- Keyword research, competitor analysis, website auditing and analytics reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
