Role Description The Digital Forensics Analyst is a full-time, Hybrid role based in Hyderabad. This role involves conducting detailed forensic examinations of systems, networks, and digital evidence to support incident response, investigations, and reporting. The analyst will collect, preserve, and analyze digital artifacts, perform malware analysis, and document findings in transparent,
defensible reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities include supporting live incident response engagements, assisting with root-cause analysis, contributing to playbooks and methodology improvements, and collaborating with cybersecurity, legal, and insurance partners. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of threat trends, forensic tools, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Forensic Analysis and Evidence handling skills, including collection, preservation, chain-of-custody management, and report writing.
- Relevant experience with digital forensics tools and platforms (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Volatility, Cellebrite or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of operating systems, networks, cloud environments, and common log sources (Windows, Linux, firewalls, EDR, SIEM) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Digital Forensics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GCFA, GCFE, CFCE, CHFI, GREM, or similar) are an advantage.
