Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Die Fitter role located in Rewari.

The Die

Fitter will install, set up, and maintain dies and molds used in plastic component manufacturing, ensuring they are aligned, secure, and ready for production. Daily tasks include inspecting dies for wear or damage, performing routine adjustments and minor repairs, and coordinating with machine operators to optimize die performance and minimize downtime. The role also involves reading technical drawings, measuring and checking dimensions, maintaining tools and equipment, and following safety and quality procedures on the shop floor.

Fitter will collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to support smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong practical skills in fitting, assembling, and maintaining dies, molds, and related tooling for automotive plastic components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering sketches, and measurements using standard instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Knowledge of basic machining, mechanical maintenance, and troubleshooting of die-related issues during production.
- Understanding of manufacturing safety practices, quality standards, and shop-floor procedures in an industrial environment.
- Relevant technical education such as ITI, diploma, or equivalent in fitter, tool & die, mechanical, or a related trade.
- Prior experience in an automotive or plastics manufacturing plant, especially in die fitting or tooling, is preferred.
- Ability to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and handle physical tasks in a factory setting.
- Positive communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
