Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

An experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to help design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation processes on Microsoft Azure platform. Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployment of applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve speed and reliability

- Write custom scripts (PowerShell or any other) as part of the build and deployment process

- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Azure CLI.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud solutions follow best practices.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and application deployments.

- Implement and manage security, compliance, and governance on Azure.

- Work with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (AKS).

- Participate in code reviews, infrastructure reviews, and architecture discussions.

- Set up and manage Azure resources: App Services, VMs, Storage, Networking, Azure Key Vault, etc.





- Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and environment configurations.

- Share daily and weekly status reports with all stakeholders for DevOps achievements and challenges

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.

Azure Stack Components Needed:

- Azure Data Factory

- Azure SQL Server

- Function Apps

- Web App

- Container App

- AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)

- Redis Cache

- Databricks

- Delta Lake

Required Skills:

- Deployment pipeline expertise from GitHub to Azure services

- Strong SQL knowledge for handling financial data

- Experience with large datasets

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with other CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.

- Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.

Soft Skills

- Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
