Role Description The Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Designer will create and refine product and component designs for automotive parts, translating technical requirements and customer needs into practical design solutions.

Daily responsibilities include preparing drawings, models, and specifications; coordinating with engineering and production teams; and ensuring that designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturing standards. The role involves reviewing feedback from manufacturing and quality teams, making design revisions, and maintaining organized design documentation.



The Designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in CAD and related design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for mechanical and product design.
- Strong skills in technical drawing, dimensioning, and creating clear design documentation and specifications.
- Understanding of automotive components, materials, and basic manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, and molding.
- Ability to analyze design requirements, perform basic tolerance and fit checks, and align designs with functional and safety standards.
- Effective collaboration skills for working with engineering, production, and quality teams in an on-site environment.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple design tasks and deadlines.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in automotive or component design is preferred; familiarity with Indian and international automotive standards is an advantage.
