:

Work within a team of multi discipline Engineers/Design Specialists in the development of new products. This includes all steps within a formal product development process and focusing on conceptual design and design discipline while delivering high quality, high performance, reliable and cost-effective designs on time.

Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability:

- Convert Product Definition into design concept with minimal guidance
- Complete design execution applying design standards
- Complete part modeling and drafting; assemblies, BOMs, release to BAAN
- System level design with limited guidance applying design standards
- Contribute to design reviews
- Participate in or lead continuous improvement activities
- Work effectively within the Product Development process and Product Release process
- Design risk mitigation including participation or facilitation of DFMEA
- Cross discipline interaction and communication
- Participate in Detail Verification using knowledge of design standards
- Creation of Design Documents and Validation Plans

Qualifications

Education

Post-secondary education (Bachelor’s in engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience.
