Job Summary
We are looking for a Design Cum Estimation Engineer with 2–3 years of relevant experience in Electrical Control Panel / Automation Panel Design and Estimation. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of electrical panel design, BOQ/BOM preparation, component selection, costing, and technical estimation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Electrical Control Panels and Automation Panels as per project requirements.
- Prepare BOQ, BOM, cost estimates and techno-commercial quotations.
- Understand and review RFQs, SLDs and technical specifications.
- Select appropriate electrical and automation components based on project requirements.
- Prepare material costing and support accurate project estimation.
- Work with components such as PLC, HMI, VFD, MCC, PCC, APFC and Control Panels.
- Prepare and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN.
- Coordinate with vendors, purchase, production and project teams for material and costing requirements.
- Ensure designs and estimates meet technical and commercial requirements.
- Maintain estimation records and costing data using MS Excel.
Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Control Panel Manufacturing or Automation System Integration will be preferred.
