Design Engineer Mechanical Product Development

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in product development, CAD-based mechanical design, engineering calculations and design validation.

Key Requirements:

- Experience in mechanical design using CAD software; Creo experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Windchill PLM would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of FEA and mechanical strength calculations.
- Knowledge of CFD would be an added advantage.
- Experience in developing 3D models, 2D drawings, assembly drawings and BOMs.
- Exposure to product validation, testing and industrialisation.
- Experience in product modifications, engineering changes, codification and resolving quality issues.
- Ability to provide technical support to Application Engineering and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:





- Work on the development and validation of recent products and engineering concepts.
- Conduct design studies, sizing calculations, FEA and fatigue analysis.
- Prepare engineering documentation and coordinate with manufacturing teams.
- Participate in DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R; and design validation activities.
- Evaluate design concepts considering performance, risk, quality and cost.
- Support manufacturing process studies related to product development.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, customers and suppliers on technical matters.

Ideal Profile: A hands-on mechanical design professional with strong product-development experience, analytical skills and the ability to work closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, customers and suppliers.
