Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full time hybrid position based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The role involves developing and refining machinery and equipment designs, preparing detailed CAD models and drawings, and collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure design feasibility and performance. Daily responsibilities include reviewing specifications, performing basic calculations, supporting product design iterations, and coordinating with manufacturing and procurement teams to align designs with production capabilities.

The Design





Engineer will also participate in design reviews, resolve technical issues, and contribute to cost, safety, and quality improvements across projects.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to create practical and efficient solutions.
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering, including understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D and 3D modeling and drafting.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to machinery and equipment integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and customer specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners; familiarity with industrial machinery or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
