Job Summary

VERT Equipment Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Design Engineer to support the design, development, modification, and improvement of construction equipment and machinery, including skid steer loaders and related components.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing 2D/3D designs, engineering drawings, BOMs, and design documentation while coordinating closely with Production, Purchase, Quality, Service, and R&D; teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies for construction equipment.
- Prepare and modify 2D drawings, 3D models, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
- Work on product development, design modifications, and value engineering initiatives.
- Create and maintain BOMs, part drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Ensure designs meet functional, manufacturing, quality, safety, and cost requirements.
- Coordinate with Production and Manufacturing teams for design feasibility and implementation.
- Coordinate with Purchase and vendors for component development and technical requirements.
- Analyze field/service feedback and incorporate necessary design improvements.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct basic engineering calculations related to structures, components, and assemblies.




- Maintain proper revision control and engineering records.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, standardization, and design optimization.
- Ensure adherence to company engineering standards and applicable industry practices.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical Design and Engineering Drawing.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and any 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks / Creo / CATIA.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, machining, welding, and sheet metal.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, fits, materials, and engineering standards.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of hydraulic/mechanical systems used in construction or mobile equipment will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Experience Experience in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, material handling equipment, automotive, hydraulics, or heavy machinery manufacturing will be preferred.
