Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dermatologist role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Dermatologist will provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with skin, hair, and nail conditions, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up consultations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient consultations, performing dermatologic procedures, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with clinical standards.

The role also involves counseling patients on skin health, preventive care, cosmetic treatments, and long-term management of conditions such as acne and chronic dermatological diseases. The Dermatologist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the MediVaah network, ensure adherence to medical ethics and safety protocols,



and contribute to a positive, patient-focused care environment.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical foundation in Medicine and Dermatology, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of skin, hair, and nail disorders.
- Expertise in Cosmetic Dermatology and Cosmetology, including non-invasive procedures and aesthetic treatments.
- Focused experience in managing Acne and related dermatologic conditions, with evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with MD/DNB in Dermatology or equivalent specialization, and valid medical council registration.
- Experience in outpatient practice, patient counseling, and procedural dermatology in a clinic or hospital setting.
- Strong communication skills, empathetic bedside manner, and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Commitment to ethical clinical practice, continuous learning, and staying updated with current dermatology guidelines and technologies.
- Comfort with using digital platforms and electronic medical records; prior experience with telemedicine or digital health tools is an advantage.
