Role & responsibilities :

Key responsibilities

1. To oversee Daily mining operations like Drilling, Blasting, Breaking and Loading Ore.
2. To carry out Mines Development Activities.
3. To ensure compliance with Safety Regulations, Increase Productivity and Manage Resources efficiently.

4. To lead the Team of Mining Foremen, Mining Mates, Mine Supervisors and HEMM Operators.
5. To extract minerals safely and cost-effectively.
6. To Plan, Organize and Supervise Mining Operations efficiently for producing 5500MT of ore per Day.

7. To monitor Mine production levels and adjust operations as needed to meet targets within timeframe.
8. To conduct Risk Assessment and Enforce Strict Safety Protocols. Investigate and Report accidents/incidents, implement corrective actions as required.

9. To Train and develop staff to enhance skills, performance and appraise them annually.
10. To Promote a culture of Teamwork, Safety and Continuous Improvement.
11. To Optimize resource allocation- including manpower, equipment and materials.

12. To Ensure proper utilization and scheduling of machinery for smooth operations.
13. To Coordinate with HEMM Maintenance Team, Quality Control etc for better results.
14. Responsible for documentation of all Data related to Pit-Operation as per Amrit Cement guidelines.

Deal and Laise with Local Stake Holders for smooth production.
16. Strongly control the team members (60-80Nos) of manpower through Mine Foremen, Mining Mate and Supervisors.
17. Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for Mine operations, implement strategies to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance safety.

18. Do RCAs and implement findings on ground.
19. Promote and Enforce Safe & Best practices among Team Members, Develop and implement safety training programs at regular intervals.

20. Prepare and implement safe operation procedures at work site.

Preferred candidate profile

Special Skills

1. Should have strong knowledge of Limestone Mining Operation, Mining Rules, Regulations, Mines Safety Standards.

2. Should have strong knowledge of HEMM operation.
3. Must have very positive Communication Skills, Supervisory skills, Administrative skills, Leadership skills, analytical and problem solving skills.

4. Should have Strong knowledge of Quality Control Systems-specifically in Limestone Mining.
5. Excellent in Soft Skills and good command over Windows Office. SAP Knowledge will be an advantage.

6. Knowledge of RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
