Role:

The candidate needs to provide legal support and guidance on non-litigation matters, ensuring compliance with Drugs and cosmetic Act 1940, Cosmetics Rules 2025, Central Drugs standard Control Organisation, DCGI import registration, Bureau of India Standards Act 2016, Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and Consumer Protection Act 2019 and regulations pertaining to and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will have excellent contract drafting, negotiation, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional inhouse teams as well as external vendors team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review and negotiate commercial and non-litigation agreements including sponsorship, endorsement, player/coach, media, licensing, vendor, service and partnership agreements.

2. Manage contracts with athletes, coaches, teams, leagues, sports associations, sponsors, agencies, vendors and business partners.

3. Handle legal documentation for sports events, tournaments, activations, campaigns and promotional activities.

4 .Advise on brand, trademark, intellectual property, image rights, content, digital and social media-related agreements.

5. Support consumer durable partnerships, product collaborations, co-branding, retail and channel partnerships from a legal and contractual perspective.

6. Negotiate key commercial clauses including indemnity, liability, confidentiality, IP,



exclusivity, payment, termination, warranties and dispute resolution.

7. Work closely with Sports, Marketing, Brand, Business Development, Finance, Procurement and Operations teams to provide practical legal solutions.

8. Identify and mitigate legal, contractual and commercial risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws, company policies and internal approval processes.

9. Manage the contract lifecycle, including execution, renewals, obligations, records and timely closure of agreements.

10. Coordinate with external legal counsel, consultants and business partners and stay updated on relevant corporate, commercial, consumer, advertising, IP and sports-related regulations.

Eligibility/Requirements:

1. Qualifications: LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized university.

2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience as an in-house counsel working with consumer durable goods company/ cosmetics brand company, sports management company with a focus on non litigation matters and contract drafting specifically mentioned above.

3. Skills: Excellent contract drafting skill, problem solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

4. Knowledge: Robust knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
