We are looking for a detail-oriented Demo & Charge Entry / Insurance Verification Specialist to join our Medical Billing team. The candidate will be responsible for accurate patient demographic entry, charge entry, insurance verification, eligibility checks, and maintaining accurate billing information.

The ideal candidate should have positive knowledge of US healthcare revenue cycle processes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Demo & Charge Entry

- Enter and update patient demographic information accurately in the billing system.
- Review patient information for completeness and identify discrepancies.
- Enter charges based on provider documentation and billing requirements.
- Verify CPT, HCPCS, and diagnosis information as applicable.
- Review charge entries for accuracy before submission.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve missing or incorrect information.




- Maintain confidentiality of patient and billing information.

Insurance Verification

- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits through payer portals and other approved channels.
- Confirm active coverage, effective dates, copay, coinsurance, deductible, and out-of-pocket information.
- Identify primary and secondary insurance coverage.
- Check authorization and referral requirements when applicable.
- Document verification details accurately in the billing or practice management system.
- Follow up on inactive, terminated, or incorrect insurance information.
- Communicate discrepancies to the appropriate team for resolution.

Candidate Preference: Candidates who are willing to work from the office and are comfortable working in the day shift will be preferred.
