About The Role The Senior Data Engineer role at Kake is a pivotal position designed for professionals with extensive experience in data analysis, data science, or data engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into reliable insights and scalable data pipelines that support business decision-making, analytics, and modeling. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to own end-to-end data solutions, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product and engineering—and influence strategic initiatives through data-driven insights.

The role requires a proactive individual capable of designing, building, and maintaining complex data systems while ensuring data quality, consistency, and security across multiple sources and platforms.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess more than five years of experience in data analysis, data science, or data engineering.



Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases are essential. Hands-on programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages are required, along with a proven track record of developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses.

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is also important. The candidate should be adept at translating complex business questions into clear, actionable insights and possess excellent communication skills in English. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment is a must, along with a team-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
