Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of Databricks architecture, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise-scale data platform implementations. Databricks certification is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data processing frameworks.
- Drive architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations around scalability, performance, security, governance, and cost optimization.
- Work extensively with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows/Jobs, and performance tuning.
- Evaluate existing implementations and propose improvements, accelerators, and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and customers to deliver robust data solutions.




- Participate in technical design reviews and solution discussions.
- Demonstrate technical leadership by recommending optimized approaches and challenging existing designs when required.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and engineering best practices.
- Work effectively within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (Mandatory).
- Expertise in Databricks Architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/Jobs, and Performance Optimization.
- Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT Concepts, Data Modelling, SQL, and Databases.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale data platform solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience working directly with customers and senior leadership.
- Ability to work in rapid-paced, high-pressure delivery environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Advanced Databricks Certifications.
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with data governance and enterprise-scale data modernization initiatives.
