JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Data Analyst with strong reporting and data analysis capabilities. The ideal candidate should be able to analyze large datasets, identify trends and patterns, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable recommendations to support business decisions. The role requires expertise in SQL, reporting tools, data visualization, and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights for stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.
- Gather, understand, and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using reporting and visualization tools.




- Perform exploratory data analysis and root cause analysis to address business challenges.
- Generate actionable insights and recommend data-driven solutions to improve business performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define metrics and success criteria.
- Create recurring and ad-hoc reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of reporting outputs.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support process improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance measurement.

EXPERIENCE

- 4+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, or Reporting roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and deriving business insights.
- Ability to work directly with stakeholders and understand business processes.
- Experience working in Healthcare, Insurance, Banking, Retail, or Enterprise Data environments is preferred.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Technical Skills

- Advanced SQL with strong knowledge of joins, aggregations, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization.
- Robust experience in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Data modeling and reporting experience.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to Python, Snowflake, or cloud platforms is an advantage.

Analytical & Business Skills

- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities from data.
- Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to convert findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong understanding of KPI development and performance measurement.

Communication Skills

- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings to leadership and business users.
- Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
