Cybersecurity Engineer – Presales & Delivery
Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)
Business Unit: Cybersecurity
Location: Cochin (Kochi), Kerala, India
Function: Presales & Delivery
Reports to: Presales & Delivery Lead
Employment type: Full-time
Role Summary
F9 Infotech is expanding its Cybersecurity Presales & Delivery team in Cochin and is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer specialising in Unified Endpoint Management (UEM). This is a dual-role position spanning technical presales (POCs, demos, solution design, technical proposals) and delivery (implementation, deployment, and post-deployment support) of UEM/MDM solutions for enterprise clients across the India and Middle East markets.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in a customer-facing solution conversation and hands-on at the console — configuring device policies, running a proof-of-concept, and closing out a deployment. You will work closely with the sales team, the OEM/partner ecosystem, and internal GRC and offensive security practices.
Key Responsibilities
Presales
- Engage with prospects to understand endpoint management, mobility, and device security requirements, and map them to the right UEM solution.
- Design and present UEM solution architectures covering enrolment, device policy, application management, patching, and compliance.
- Build and run Proof-of-Concept (POC) and demo environments; lead technical demonstrations and workshops.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution documents, bills of material (BoM), and effort estimates in coordination with sales and pricing.
- Support deal registration and partner/OEM engagement with UEM vendors (Scalefusion, Microsoft, 42Gears, Hexnode, and others).
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs and address technical clarifications during the sales cycle.
Delivery
- Implement, configure, and deploy UEM/MDM platforms across Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS device fleets.
- Configure enrolment programs, conditional access, app distribution, kiosk/COSU modes, compliance policies, and reporting.
- Integrate UEM platforms with identity, email, and security tooling (e.g., Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, conditional access, certificate services).
- Lead onboarding, migration, and hypercare for client deployments; document configurations and hand over to operations/support.
- Troubleshoot enrolment, policy, connectivity, and compliance issues, and act as escalation point for delivery.
- Maintain delivery quality, timelines, and documentation standards (SOPs, runbooks, as-built docs).
Cross-functional
- Coordinate with the India and UAE/ME Presales & Delivery teams to share reusable assets and best practices.
- Interface with GRC and offensive security practices where endpoint security, compliance, or hardening is in scope.
- Keep current with UEM product roadmaps, licensing models, and OEM certifications.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience implementing and/or presales for UEM / MDM / EMM solutions.
- Robust working knowledge of endpoint management concepts: device enrolment, policy management, application management (MAM/MDM), patch management, compliance, and conditional access.
- Cross-platform device management experience across Android, iOS/iPadOS, Windows, and macOS.
- Understanding of enterprise mobility security: encryption, containerisation, remote wipe, jailbreak/root detection, and zero-trust device posture.
- Familiarity with identity and directory services (Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory) and certificate/PKI basics.
- Ability to write clear technical proposals and solution documentation, and to present confidently to technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting, ownership, and customer-facing communication skills.
Preferred Product Knowledge Hands-on experience with one or more of the following UEM platforms is strongly preferred:
- Scalefusion (ProMobi Technologies)
- Microsoft Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- 42Gears (SureMDM)
- Hexnode UEM
Experience across more than one of these platforms — and the ability to compare and position them for different client scenarios — is a distinct advantage.
Preferred Certifications
- Vendor UEM certifications (e.g., Microsoft Intune / MD-102, Scalefusion, 42Gears, Hexnode).
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, SC-300) are a plus.
- Any relevant security certification (Security+ or equivalent) is desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
What We Offer
- A role at the intersection of presales and delivery — variety, ownership, and direct client impact.
- Exposure to enterprise clients across the India and Middle East markets.
- Access to a growing multi-vendor cybersecurity portfolio and OEM ecosystem.
- Opportunity to grow within F9's Cybersecurity Business Unit.
