? We're Hiring: Customer Success Engineer – Distributed Database

Trantor is looking for an experienced Customer Success Engineer to support enterprise customers using SingleStore’s distributed, cloud-native database technology .

This is a hands-on, post-sales technical role where you’ll work directly with customer engineering and data teams to drive successful deployments, troubleshoot complex database challenges, optimize performance, and enable customers to operate the platform effectively.

? Key Responsibilities

- Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers.
- Support database deployments across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Troubleshoot complex database/application issues and drive them to resolution.
- Perform SQL query analysis, optimization, and performance tuning .
- Work on data ingestion, CDC, replication, HA, DR, backup/restore, and observability.
- Analyze distributed architectures for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Conduct technical workshops and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Collaborate with TAMs, Solution Engineers, Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering teams.

? Must-Have Skills ✅ 6+ years in customer-facing technical, consulting, technical support, solutions engineering, or customer success roles

✅ Strong hands-on experience with distributed databases

✅ Strong SQL,



database architecture & query optimization expertise

✅ Experience with Linux and cloud environments

✅ Experience with technologies such as:

- MySQL / PostgreSQL / MS SQL / Oracle
- NoSQL / Key-Value databases
- Kafka
- Amazon S3
- CDC & Replication
- Kubernetes
- Datadog / Grafana or similar monitoring tools
- Backup, Restore, HA & DR
- Cloud networking, security & encryption

⭐ Positive to Have
- SingleStore or other distributed SQL database experience
- Large-scale database migration / modernization
- Real-time analytics or data-intensive applications
- Cloud-native database deployments
- Python or scripting experience
- Database performance engineering

Location: Remote

Shift: 6PM- 3AM
