Role Description The CTP Operator is a full-time, in office role based in Taloja MIDC ,Navi Mumbai responsible for managing and operating Computer-to-Plate (CTP) equipment used in printing and plate-making processes. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and loading plates, setting up and calibrating CTP machines, monitoring exposure and imaging quality, and performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance. The role involves checking input files for technical accuracy, coordinating with design and production teams to resolve pre-press issues, and ensuring alignment with quality, safety, and production timelines.

The CTP Operator is expected to document work performed, maintain records of plate output and machine status, and proactively identify and report any malfunctions or process improvements.

Qualifications





- Hands-on experience with CTP equipment operation, plate loading, machine setup, and calibration in a printing or pre-press environment.
- Strong understanding of pre-press workflows, including file preparation, RIP processing, and imaging quality control.
- Ability to perform routine machine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with technical support when needed.
- Knowledge of printing processes (offset or related), materials used for plates, and relevant safety and handling procedures.
- Attention to detail for inspecting plates, identifying defects, and ensuring alignment with quality standards and production specifications.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with graphics or pre-press software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, pre-press utilities) is an advantage.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with design, production, and quality teams, and to document work accurately.
- Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, follow established procedures, and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a steel packaging or industrial printing setup is preferred; vocational training or diploma in printing technology or a related field is beneficial.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with CTP equipment and escalate major faults to maintenance/vendor support
- Support color management and proofing processes as required

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
