Key Responsibilities

- Conservation Management
- Document and maintain conservation records for the
- Museum's collections, ensuring their preservation.
- Implement conservation protocols to maintain the safety and
- integrity of collections.
- Preventive Conservation
- Work with colleagues to develop and implement strategies
- and protocols to ensure that the collections receive an
- appropriate standard of care as per international best
- practice.
- Assist in developing and implementing storage and
- environmental monitoring measures.
- Support preventive conservation efforts such as routine
- maintenance, periodic evaluations, and emergency planning
- for safeguarding collections against potential damage.
- Collaboration and Research
- Collaborate with internal teams and external conservation
- experts to support preservation projects.
- Undertake research relevant to conservation and stay
- informed of developments in the field.

Qualifications & Experience

- MA Conservation or MA in relevant subject + diploma in
- Conservation (essential).
- Prior experience of at least 5 years in museum conservation or
- private conservation studios essential.

Experience in conserving

- mixed materials preferred.
