CT / MRI Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CT/MRI Technician to operate CT and MRI equipment, perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain high-quality imaging standards in accordance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform CT and MRI scans as per physician/radiologist instructions and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the procedure clearly.
- Verify patient identity, clinical history, and relevant examination details before scanning.
- Operate CT/MRI equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Follow appropriate CT/MRI protocols, positioning techniques, and imaging parameters.
- Screen MRI patients for contraindications, implants, metallic objects, and other safety risks.
- Assist with contrast-enhanced CT/MRI procedures, including patient preparation and monitoring, as applicable.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any discomfort or adverse reactions.
- Ensure proper infection control, patient positioning, and equipment safety practices.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues or abnormalities promptly.
- Maintain accurate patient and examination records.




- Upload and manage images through PACS/RIS and ensure images are properly labeled and documented.
- Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff for smooth workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the CT/MRI rooms and equipment.
- Follow hospital/diagnostic center policies, radiation safety guidelines, MRI safety protocols, and quality standards.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of CT and MRI procedures and protocols.
- Strong understanding of patient positioning and image quality.
- Knowledge of MRI safety and screening procedures.
- Basic knowledge of contrast administration and patient monitoring.
- Familiarity with PACS/RIS and radiology documentation.
- Positive communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

Qualification

- B.Sc. / Diploma in Radiology & Imaging Technology / Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent.
- Relevant certification/registration as applicable.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with CT and MRI modalities in a hospital or diagnostic center.
- Experience with Siemens / GE / Philips / Canon CT or MRI equipment is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
