About the Role

RD Bytes is looking for a creative and driven Video Editor to join our team in Korattur, Chennai. We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for storytelling, robust technical skills across editing tools, and the drive to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos (reels, ads, promos, YouTube content, social media clips, etc.)
- Add effects, transitions, graphics, text, color correction, and sound design to enhance video quality
- Collaborate with the content/marketing team to understand project requirements and brand tone
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Stay updated with the latest editing trends, formats, and techniques (especially for social media)
- Organize and maintain video files, footage, and project assets systematically

Requirements

- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in video editing




- Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Working knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
- A creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to take feedback constructively and work independently
- Good time management and responsibility toward deliverables
- High potential to learn, adapt, and grow within the role
- Must be based in or able to commute to Korattur, Chennai
