Looking for a Cost Controller for a Kitchen Appliances Client

Location- Ahmedabad

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Plan and direct management accounting activities (cost & variance analysis, monthly performance analysis, investment decisions, balance sheet management and decision support) for the manufacturing units.
- Ensure strict adherence to established processes and controls and drive compliance mindset in the factory.
- Lead the financial monitoring of the units and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Execute the business planning process, which includes setting up budgets, rolling forecasts and Monthly performance reviews.
- Ensure that the appropriate information systems are in place for management & financial accounting purposes.
- Manage the finance and accounting team of the units ensuring appropriate training and capabilities with the staff.
- Ensure that proper Business and financial controls are maintained in the units and that the organization adheres to it.
- Ensure controls on production inventory (eg., Periodic physical verification, Perpetual count, Obsolete inventory liquidation etc.,)
- Managing P&L; of the factory




- Factory operations performance MIS preparation and review with stakeholders
- Takes responsibility of optimization of cost & drive savings initiatives
- Member of Factory Management Team & is responsible to ensure organization is living upto General Business practices in their day-to-day job.
- Evaluating site Capex proposal and budget management
- Ensure periodic vendor accounts reconciliation and dispute resolution
- Global review and reporting factory performance
- Co-ordination with commercial business and extend support

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

- Education: CA / ICWA
- Experience: 4- 8 years of experience in handling F&A; function in a Manufacturing unit preferably in Consumer durables / FMCG industry of repute.
- Sound Understanding of Product Costing
- Sound Understanding of Manufacturing Accounting and Controls
- Short and mid-term planning.
- Cost management.
- Net-asset management.
- Business and financial controls.
- Valuable in Excel & Power point
