Hiring: Cosmetic Formulator - R&D; The Parambariyam | Erode, Tamil Nadu

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Cosmetic Formulator to join our R&D; team and lead the development of high-performance, premium Skin Care and Hair Care formulations .

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in cosmetic formulation, raw material selection, formulation troubleshooting, stability testing and scale-up from laboratory trials to commercial production.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop innovative premium and high-performance Skin Care & Hair Care formulations .
- Formulate advanced products including:
- Serums
- Moisturisers & Creams
- Gel-based products
- Sunscreens
- Face Washes & Cleansers
- Hair Serums
- Shampoos & Conditioners
- Hair Masks & Treatments
- Body Care products
- Select and evaluate high-quality cosmetic ingredients, actives, emulsifiers, surfactants, thickeners, preservatives, botanical extracts, oils and functional ingredients .
- Develop formulations with excellent texture, sensory feel, stability, efficacy and consumer experience .
- Work with up-to-date cosmetic actives and formulation technologies.
- Optimize formulations for performance, stability, cost and scalability .
- Conduct laboratory trials, pilot batches and manufacturing trials.
- Troubleshoot issues related to separation, viscosity, pH, texture, colour, odour, stability and compatibility .
- Conduct stability and accelerated stability studies.
- Support scale-up from laboratory to commercial manufacturing .
- Evaluate raw material specifications, technical data and supplier documentation.
- Maintain complete and accurate formulation sheets, trial records,



specifications and R&D; documentation .
- Collaborate with QC, QA, Production, Purchase and Stores teams.
- Research emerging cosmetic ingredients, technologies and market trends.
- Develop new product concepts based on market trends, consumer needs and brand requirements .
- Ensure formulations comply with applicable GMP and cosmetic quality requirements .

Candidate Requirements

Qualification:

- B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- B.Sc / M.Sc Cosmetic Science
- B.Tech / M.Tech Chemical Engineering
- Or equivalent qualification with strong cosmetic formulation expertise

Experience:

- 2+ years of hands-on cosmetic formulation experience preferred.
- Strong experience in Skin Care and/or Hair Care formulation .
- Experience with premium/high-performance formulations will be an advantage.
- Experience in natural, herbal and plant-derived formulations is an added advantage.
