Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements as per Ind AS, IFRS, and other applicable GAAPs under the supervision of senior team members.

- Support the preparation of MIS reports and assist in managing Month-end Closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and related schedules.

- Prepare and post GAAP adjustment entries under guidance; review contracts and transactions to identify accounting implications and escalate complex areas to supervisors.

- Manage and maintain Excel-based Financial Statement workbooks and ensure accurate inter-schedule linkages and data integrity.

- Support the implementation of new or revised Accounting Standards (e.g., Ind AS 115, Ind AS 116) under the guidance of senior team members.

- Provide audit support by preparing supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation packs for statutory and internal audit engagements.

- Assist in preparing formal reports and presentations for clients or regulatory bodies as directed by team leads, ensuring clarity and accuracy in findings.

- Work collaboratively within the team on concurrent client assignments, managing personal task timelines responsibly under senior guidance.

Requirements

- Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / ACCA with a good academic record 0 to 2+ years of post-qualification experience (freshers with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply).

- Prior Experience:



Articleship / training or post-qualification exposure in Financial Reporting, preparation of Financial Statements, Attestation, or Audit of listed companies or entities reporting under Ind AS or IFRS is preferred.

- Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, linked workbooks) along with working knowledge of other MS Office programs.

- Good foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices — IGAAP, Ind AS, and IFRS framework.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — ability to interpret financial data, identify trends and inconsistencies, and draw well-reasoned conclusions.

- Experience in financial statement preparation and audit support during articleship will be an advantage.

- Basic familiarity with Accounting ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Tally) is desirable.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
