Construction Manager Hydropower / Irrigation Project
Alpha Pacific Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Construction Manager (Civil) for a major Hydropower/Irrigation Project.
Project location: Uttarakhand. This is a site-based role. Candidates from across India who are willing to relocate to the project location are welcome to apply.
Salary: 50,000–60,000 per month (6–7.2 lakh annually).
Qualification and experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of overall experience, including at least 10 years in hydropower, dam, irrigation, tunnelling, or major water-resource projects.
- Experience as Construction Manager/Project Manager on at least one major hydropower or irrigation project is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Lead construction planning and execution of civil works, including dam, tunnel and hydraulic structures.
- Plan and manage manpower, equipment and site resources.
- Coordinate subcontractors and oversee contract execution.
- Monitor construction progress against schedules and coordinate corrective action where required.
- Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, QA/QC procedures and health, safety and setting standards.
- Coordinate site teams and stakeholders to support effective project execution.
