Computer Faculty / IT Trainer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Computer Faculty / IT Trainer to deliver practical and engaging computer training to students/trainees. The candidate will be responsible for classroom teaching, practical sessions, assessments, and maintaining training records.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver computer and IT training as per the prescribed curriculum and lesson plan.
- Conduct practical sessions on computers and ensure hands-on learning.
- Teach basic computer operations, MS Office, internet usage, email, and digital tools.
- Explain computer fundamentals, operating systems, file management, and basic troubleshooting.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, activities, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct regular tests, quizzes, and practical assessments and maintain trainee performance records.
- Identify learners who require additional support and provide remedial training.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Ensure computers, software, and other training equipment are functional before practical sessions.
- Maintain attendance, training diaries, assessment records, and other required documentation.




- Support trainees in developing digital and workplace-ready skills.
- Coordinate with other faculty members and management regarding training progress.
- Participate in meetings, inspections, audits, placement activities, and other institute requirements when required.

Required Skills
- Positive knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of basic computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with internet, email, online applications, and digital platforms.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Classroom management and trainee-handling skills.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge will be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
- BCA / B.Sc. Computer Science / B.Tech / MCA / Diploma in Computer Applications or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Computer Faculty, IT Trainer, Computer Instructor, or Skill Trainer is preferred.
- Experience in vocational training or government skill-development projects will be an advantage.

Salary 650 per hour depending on qualification and experience.
