About the role:

FTW is a private members' community of founders, operators, investors and creators, built as an offshoot of Nikhil Kamath and the WTF media properties, the podcast and its audience. The WhatsApp group is where the community lives day to day. Your job is to make it the best conversation our members have all week, the water cooler they don't want to miss. You are part editor, part host, part connector. You know who is in the room, what is happening in the world, and how to put the two together.

Location - Mumbai preferred; remote considered

Reports to - Head of Membership / Founder's office

Type - Full time

What you'll do:

- Programme the conversation: seed 1–2 high-quality threads a day drawn from current affairs,

markets, tech, policy, culture and sport — whatever is live and relevant to the room. No filler, no forwarded content.
- Know every member: their company, what they are building, what they have said before, what

they are good at. Maintain a living member map and use it to make introductions and pull the right people into the right threads.
- Connect members to each other: spot where two people should be talking and make it

happen — in-thread tags, 1:1 intros, small-group calls.
- Run special guest calls: source and book guests members actually want (operators, investors,

domain experts, public figures), prep the questions, host the call, share a tight summary afterwards.
- Own event communication: announce, remind, drive RSVPs, and bring the energy from offline

events back into the group.
- Set and enforce norms: keep the tone sharp and generous; handle low-value posts and

disagreements quickly and without drama.
- Track and report: participation, thread quality, member-to-member connections made, guest

call attendance. Iterate on what works.

Who you are:

- Insatiably curious with wide range — you read across business, tech, politics, science and

culture and can hold your own on any of them.
- Genuinely plugged into current affairs; you know what is in the news before members do.
- A natural host and connector — people remember you and reply to you.
- Strong writer: crisp, witty, zero corporate voice. You can write a compelling 3-line prompt that

gets 20 replies.
- Discreet and high-trust; comfortable handling sensitive information about senior people.• Organised enough to run a guest-call pipeline and an events calendar without dropping

anything.
- 3–6 years in community, editorial, programming, membership clubs, journalism, events or

founder/investor relations. An existing network in the Indian startup and investor ecosystem is a strong plus. What success looks like in 6 months

- Daily active participation from a majority of members, not a vocal 10%.
- 2+ guest calls a month that members rate highly and rearrange schedules for.
- A documented set of member-to-member connections that led to something real — a deal, a

hire, a partnership.
- Members cite the group as a top reason they renew.
