Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Cloud Architect at CLEAR INFOSEC.

The Cloud

Architect will design, implement, and optimize secure cloud architectures across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity best practices and organizational requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining cloud solution architectures, designing infrastructure components, guiding secure software development and integration patterns, and collaborating with security, development, and operations teams. The role involves evaluating existing environments, recommending improvements, creating reference architectures and documentation, and supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Architect will also participate in risk assessments, security reviews, and continuous improvement of cloud governance and compliance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Solution Architecture skills, including designing end-to-end cloud solutions that meet security, scalability, and performance requirements.
- Candidates should possess Infrastructure skills in cloud networking, compute, storage, identity and access management, and high-availability design.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including familiarity with secure coding practices, APIs, and automation using scripting or programming languages.
- Candidates should possess Integration and Architecture skills, including designing integrations between cloud services, on-premises systems, and third-party platforms.
- Experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security services and tools.
- Knowledge of information security principles, compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001), and cloud security best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, CCSP, CISSP) are beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in remote, cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
