Role Description The Claims Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The person in this role will oversee end-to-end claims handling, including registration, documentation, assessment, and coordination with insurers and clients to ensure timely and fair settlement. Daily responsibilities include reviewing claim files, analyzing policy coverage, tracking claim status, resolving queries, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

The Claims

Manager will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline claims processes,



reduce claim disputes, and improve client experience. The role also involves identifying process improvements, supporting risk and advisory teams with claims insights, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Claims Handling and Claims Management, with experience managing end-to-end claim lifecycles.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, evaluate claim validity, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Claims, including policy terms, coverage interpretation, and regulatory requirements.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in insurance, finance, business, or a related field; professional insurance certifications are an advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in using claims management or insurance-related software.
- Previous experience in insurance broking, risk advisory, or claims management roles is highly beneficial.
