Position: Civil Engineer

Experience: Minimum 5 Years. Maximum Allowed.

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: For Our 2nd Plant In Uganda ( Africa ).

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to manage and supervise building and road construction projects. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of site execution, AutoCAD, BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, measurements, and contractor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and execute building and road construction activities at project sites.
- Prepare, modify, and read AutoCAD drawings.
- Execute civil works as per approved architectural and structural drawings.
- Prepare and verify BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and quantity estimates.
- Calculate quantities for RCC, PCC, excavation, foundation, brick/block work, plaster, flooring, etc.
- Supervise road construction activities including:

- Earthwork and excavation

- GSB/WMM
- Road sub-base and base course

- DBM/BC work
- Drainage, culverts, and related civil works
- Monitor daily site progress and maintain site records.
- Take and verify site measurements for contractor bills.
- Prepare daily progress reports and material requirement reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, labour teams, consultants, and clients.
- Check work quality, dimensions, levels, and specifications.
- Ensure construction work is completed according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Monitor material usage and reduce unnecessary wastage.
- Assist in rate analysis, estimation, and project costing.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.

Required Skills

- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.




- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Practical experience in building and road construction.
- Ability to read and understand civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of quantity measurement and basic rate analysis.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good site supervision and contractor management skills.
- Basic knowledge of Auto Level / Total Station is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant construction-site experience preferred.

Accommodation & Food

- Free accommodation will be provided at the project/site location.
- Food/meals will be provided by the company.
- Suitable accommodation will be arranged for the selected candidate.

Salary & Other Details Salary: 50,000- 3,00,000 per month, depending on experience and skills

Location: Uganda , Africa .

Working Hours: General Shift
