- Evaluating the feasibility of proposed projects by analyzing data and conducting site investigations

- Designing infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and utilities for various projects

- Using software programs and drawing tools to create blueprints and plans for structures

- Calculating the cost of materials, equipment, and labor to determine project budgets

- Managing and directing construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

- Ensuring all designs, plans, and projects comply with local and national building codes and regulations

- Working closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that project goals are met

- Maintaining professional knowledge and skills by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in qualified societies
