Role Description The C&I; (Controls & Instrumentation) Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon. The role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining control and instrumentation systems for energy-related products and projects.

Day-to-day tasks include developing control logic, preparing instrumentation specifications and layout drawings, reviewing engineering documentation, and supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The C&I; Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, interfaces with suppliers and contractors, and supports troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of existing systems.



The role also requires adherence to safety standards, quality procedures, and relevant industry codes while meeting project timelines and performance targets.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in control systems, instrumentation, and electrical engineering, including control logic, PLC/DCS, and field instrumentation.
- Ability to read and develop engineering drawings and documentation, such as P&IDs;, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and datasheets.
- Experience with installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of C&I; systems in industrial or power-sector environments.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software tools and familiarity with industry standards and codes related to controls and instrumentation.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and customers in office.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
- Prior experience in energy, utilities, or heavy industrial projects is beneficial.
