About the Role

Iskra Counselling Centre is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychologist for a full time remote role supporting clients aged 6–17. The psychologist will provide developmentally appropriate assessment, counselling, psychoeducation, and evidence-based interventions while working collaboratively with parents or caregivers when clinically appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct clinical interviews, behavioural assessments, and age-appropriate psychological screening.
- Develop individualised care plans for emotional, behavioural, developmental, school-related, and adjustment concerns.
- Deliver individual counselling using evidence-based, child-centred approaches.
- Provide parent or caregiver guidance while preserving appropriate client confidentiality.
- Identify safeguarding risks and follow escalation and crisis-response procedures.
- Maintain accurate, confidential case notes and monitor client progress.
- Coordinate with educators, physicians, psychiatrists, and other professionals when consent and client needs require it.





Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a closely related discipline.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred; candidates with additional experience may also apply.
- Demonstrated experience working therapeutically with children and adolescents.
- Professional registration, certification, or licence where required by applicable regulations.
- Knowledge of child development, safeguarding, risk assessment, and ethical remote practice.

Preferred Skills

Training or experience in CBT, play-based interventions, family work, trauma-informed care, or neurodevelopmental support is valued.

This role serves child and adolescent clients. Client age ranges are not applicant age requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
