Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full-time leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across manufacturing, supply chain, and support functions. Based in Gurugram in a hybrid setup, the COO will work primarily on-site while having the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. Key activities include developing and implementing operational strategies, ensuring production efficiency and quality, driving process improvements, and aligning operations with sustainability and certification requirements.

The COO will collaborate closely with the executive team on business planning, budgeting, and financial performance, and will lead cross-functional teams to meet growth, compliance, and customer satisfaction targets.



The role also includes monitoring key performance indicators, managing risks, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong business planning and strategic management skills, with experience in setting and executing long-term operational roadmaps.
- Proven expertise in operations management, including production, supply chain, and process optimization within manufacturing or apparel sectors.
- Robust analytical skills to interpret data, track KPIs, and make informed decisions that improve efficiency and profitability.
- Sound knowledge of finance and budgeting, including cost control, resource allocation, and financial reporting to support organizational goals.
- Experience in managing large, diverse teams and building collaborative, inclusive work environments.
- Familiarity with sustainability standards, quality certifications (such as GOTS/GRS), and compliance requirements in fashion manufacturing is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or a related field; prior COO or senior operations leadership experience preferred.
