Role & responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Performance

- Support the CEO in formulating and executing the long-term business strategy.
- Lead the annual strategic planning and business review process.
- Track key business metrics including capacity additions, project execution, generation performance, profitability, and ESG targets.
- Develop executive dashboards and performance scorecards for leadership review.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Support evaluation of new growth areas including Green Hydrogen, Energy Storage Systems, Carbon Credits, and Emerging Renewable Technologies.

CEO Office & Executive Governance

- Act as the primary coordination point for the CEO's Office.
- Manage strategic priorities and ensure follow-through across functions.
- Drive executive governance mechanisms including Leadership Reviews, Management Committees, Project Steering Committees, and Board Reviews.
- Prepare CEO presentations, Board papers, investor updates, and strategic reports.
- Ensure closure of action items emerging from leadership meetings.

Project & Program Management

- Lead high-impact strategic projects sponsored by the CEO.
- Monitor execution of renewable energy projects and expansion initiatives.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, regulatory, and commercial teams to resolve execution bottlenecks.
- Establish governance frameworks for tracking project milestones and risk management.
- Drive organizational transformation programs and process improvement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Leadership

- Facilitate collaboration among Project Development, Business Development, O&M;, Engineering, Commercial, HR, Finance, Procurement, and Legal teams.
- Ensure alignment of all functions with strategic priorities.




- Support decision-making through structured business analysis and recommendation frameworks.
- Improve operating rhythms and organizational effectiveness.

Corporate Strategy & Growth Initiatives

- Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and business expansion opportunities.
- Coordinate financial, commercial, technical, and legal due diligence activities.
- Assist in preparation of investment proposals and business cases.
- Evaluate new market opportunities within renewable energy value chains.

Stakeholder Management

- Interface with investors, lenders, regulators, consultants, and strategic partners as required.
- Support engagement with government bodies, utilities, EPC partners, and industry associations.
- Coordinate key customer and stakeholder communications on strategic matters.

ESG, Sustainability & Innovation

- Drive sustainability and ESG initiatives across the organization.
- Monitor compliance with sustainability commitments and reporting requirements.
- Promote innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Support implementation of AI, analytics, and digital solutions for improved operational performance.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- MBA from a premier institution.
- Skilled certifications in Project Management, Strategy, Renewable Energy, or Business Transformation.
- 12-18 years of experience in Renewable Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Energy Transition, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Project Management, or Business Transformation.
- Experience in Solar, Wind, Hybrid, BESS, Green Hydrogen, or Energy Infrastructure sectors preferred.
- Exposure to CEO Office, Strategy, Corporate Planning, Business Excellence, Consulting, or Large Program Management roles.
- Experience handling cross-functional and leadership-level stakeholders.
