About Us

Raj Process Equipments and Systems Pvt. Ltd. is a Pune-based manufacturer of boilers, dryers, evaporators, mixers and allied process equipment, with a strong turnkey process-plant business serving the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and distillery sectors. Our corporate office is at Baner, with manufacturing facilities at Chakan, Wasuli, Khed and Khandala.

Through Raj Clean Energy Pvt. Ltd., we have recently entered compressed biogas (CBG) manufacturing — the next phase of our growth.

The Role

We are hiring a CFO to own the complete finance function across both entities and all four plants. This is a hands-on, plant-facing role. The mandate is to bring rigour to plant costing and project profitability, release working capital locked in inventory and receivables, and build the financial structure to fund and scale our clean energy business.

You will report to the Managing Director and lead the Finance, Accounts, Costing, Taxation and Internal Audit teams.

What You Will Own

- Budgeting, forecasting and monthly variance analysis across four plants and two entities
- Cost accounting — standard costing, raw material consumption, overhead absorption, job and project costing
- Project profitability on long-gestation turnkey orders: cost-to-complete, margin erosion alerts, post-completion review
- Cash flow, treasury, banking relationships, working capital limits, bank guarantees and LCs
- Inventory aging, non-moving stock and WIP — with defined action and provisioning norms
- Receivables, payables, customer advances and retention money; supplier and contractor commercial review
- CAPEX evaluation — NPV, IRR, payback, sensitivity — and post-implementation ROI tracking
- Project finance for the CBG business:



term loan structuring, lender negotiation, financial modelling, subsidy and offtake evaluation
- Statutory compliance across GST, Income Tax, TDS, Customs, Companies Act and FEMA
- Statutory, tax, cost and internal audits; internal financial controls and plant-level stock verification
- Inter-company transactions, consolidation and related-party compliance
- Board MIS — accurate, on-calendar, with commentary
- ERP discipline across finance, stores, costing and procurement
- Building and leading a multi-location finance team

What You Bring

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 15+ years post-qualification experience, including 5+ years as CFO / Head of Finance
- Manufacturing or engineering background with direct ownership of plant costing and inventory control
- A quantifiable track record of working capital improvement
- Strong command of Ind AS, GST, direct tax and Companies Act compliance
- Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Tally Prime or equivalent)
- Experience managing banking relationships and working capital facilities

Preferred

- Turnkey / EPC / project-based business experience, including milestone-based revenue recognition
- Project finance or term loan syndication for greenfield capital projects
- Exposure to renewable energy, biogas, bio-CNG, distillery or allied process industries
- Multi-entity, multi-plant finance leadership
- Exports, imports and forex risk management
