Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Mumbai.

The Chartered

Accountant will handle day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including maintaining books of accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations. The role involves managing audits, coordinating with external auditors, and supporting internal control processes.

Accountant will oversee budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting to support management decisions, and will work closely with operations and management teams to optimize financial performance and support business growth.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong foundation in accounting and finance.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and preparation of financial statements, preferably in manufacturing or related industries.
- Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances, with the ability to manage audits and regulatory filings.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to management.
- Prior experience in jewellery or manufacturing sector is an advantage but not mandatory.
